Winter Professional Development Event 2013

Eagle Heights Spanish Immersion

Eden Prairie, MN

Eighty-nine educators met after school in February for dinner and guided discussion of topics that had been determined by a survey earlier in the winter. In addition, attendees heard about recent advocacy efforts on the part of MAIN especially those related to teacher licensure and an overview of the WIDA Standards as they could apply to immersion teaching.

The event was hosted by Eagle Heights Spanish Immersion Elementary. Thanks to Kevin McGee and Elizabeth Linares and the rest of the staff at Eagle Heights.
