     Eden Prairie School District is seeking applicants for a full-time world language-Spanish & Spanish language & culture at our Central Middle School. Language is our connection to our community and our world. The learning of a second language and its culture is an integral part of the student’s total learning experience. The ability to communicate in a second language increases opportunities to interact with other people and to gain insight into other cultures. The world language philosophy emphasizes a communicative approach through listening, speaking, reading and writing. The focus is on what the students can do with the language and how well they can communicate in given situations.. Eden Prairie is a school district with over 1,400 employees serving 9,000 students. The district is recognized for its quality initiatives and its leadership in educational programming.

     Position requirements:

    ·         Current Minnesota Teaching License issued by the Minnesota Department of Education.

    ·         MN License as K-12 or 7-12 World Language-Spanish.

     Position reports to:                     Principal

    Starting Salary:                              Regionally competitive salary based on education

                                                                   & experience
